I’m back from Copenaghen where Microsoft Western Europe ALM Days event took place. Two great days with good sessions from a technical perspective and some good point

Upgrading Visual Studio 11 Beta to Visual Studio 2012 RC

On 31th May 2012 Visual Studio 2012 RC (Release Candidate) has been release. Upgrading from Visual Studio 11 Beta & .NET 4.5 Beta to Release Candidate is compatible and fully supported in production. The update process is very easy and requires two computer restart.

    Visual Studio: Add Work Item to Model Elements

    Question: “Can I add work item to model generated with Visual Studio, like Sequence Diagram? Because someone told me it’s possible but I did not find the way.”

    Answer: “Yes, but you need to install Feature Pack 2 from here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/vstudio/ff655021.aspx

     

    Once installed additional items are available on the context menu of model elements.

    Se avete usato Azure vi sarete sicuramente accorti che quando fate il deploy sul cloud, non sempre tutto funziona al primo colpo:

    • Assembly .NET mancanti
    • Windows Azure Storage Connection String errata
    • Librerie 32bit mancanti
    • Utilizzo di privilegi amministrativi
    La lista potrebbe continuare con molti altri punti. Come si fa a trovare la causa del problema?
