Operations Manager Web Part in SharePoint 2013

Operations Manager 2012 SP1 provides a SharePoint Web Part that enables you to publish your SCOM dashboards on the SharePoint sites’ web pages. There is an official guide at this Technet page, but it refers to SharePoint 2010 only. In this article I’m going to show you how this can be achieved also with SharePoint 2013, using shared credentials too.

SCOM 2012: inserire il codice di licenza per passare da eval a retail

Durante l’installazione di SCOM 2012 (o l’aggiornamento da una versione precedente) non viene richiesto il codice di licenza.

Uno degli aspetti più evidenti è l’impossibilitá di generare dei report, oltre al fatto che a fine periodo di valutazione il prodotto non funzionerà più.

Per attivare la licenza effettuare le seguenti operazioni:

  • aprire una powershell come amministratore
  • importare il modulo di operations manager (import-module operationsmanager)
  • Collegarsi al proprio management group (New-SCOMManagementGroupConnection)
  • Utilizzare il comando Set-ScomLicense –ProductID “vostro id prodotto”
